D Z Strad Model 800 Violin

This Model 800 Violin by D Z Strad Violin Shop is 7/8-size masterpiece. Handmade using beautifully aged tonewood from the Italian Alps and enhanced with a fine varnish that brings out the wood's natural character, the Model 800 is rich, resonant, and highly responsive. Its light red over gold varnish rounds out its powerful tone making it an ideal instrument for those looking to both practice and perform on this instrument. 


Specifications:
Fitted with Dominant strings, this Model 800 has a sophisticated tone with plenty of character, color, and depth. Its back is carved from a gorgeous single piece of maple, whose "tiger-stripe" flaming is accented by our signature varnish, and is slightly antiqued for a more mature sound and feel.
  • 100% Handmade, 100% hand oil-varnished
  • Selected Alpine Spruce Top, naturally air dried
  • Selected Maple Back, Ribs & Scroll, naturally air dried (over 20 years)
  • Made in the USA
